Baránok is now defunct for more than half a year. But will it ever be re-established? That is a very hard question to answer. To this date, several attempts to re-establish the country were made, but they all failed. Why did they fail? The answer is easy: lack of interest. Every time, only a small group of former citizens tried to re-establish Baránok. 

Attempt one: Poll

In April 2021, a poll for former citizens of Baránok was actually made if they wish to re-establish the republic. The poll had, however, not very satisfying results for the patriots as only five former citizens voted (3 Yes, 2 No). Baránok was thus still defunct. 

Attempt two: Confederation

A new hope came after a conference of Talconian officials and Baranese patriots agreed on establishing a confederation of Baránok and Talcon. The confederation was a total failure, as it fell to inactivity almost seconds after it was established.

Other attemps

Baránok was proclaimed an anarchy circa two times. The last attempt to restore Baránok was to do so on a school trip, but nothing happened.

Is there a possibility of re-establishment?

There certainly is, and if the idea will gain endorsements from the former citizens, the declaration of independence could be made. The most important thing for the country is: not to be inactive.
